It is a good set. But the instructions booklet has steps for assembling only 18 models though the description says 28 models. I would request the company to stop deceiving the customers with this false claim. The last 10 models have only a single picture of the finished model. The customer care was also not able to provide any softcopy of the steps for these 10 models. It would be nice to get the steps for these 10 models at least in a downloadable document (PDF) from the mechanix product website. Hope the company listens to this request!

It is a good activity kit for kids aged 7 and above. This kit offers opportunities for kids to think, reason, try, do problem-solving, and succeed. The manual for making models offers only a step-by-step guide for 18 models, and for the remaining 10 models, this step-by-step guide is absent. However, if a kid has made the first 18 models with the assistance of a manual. He can surely put his mind and make the remaining 10 models of which photos have been provided. The other important thing is that the kid can attempt to make other models which may not be part of the manual by his or her own imagination. Overall, a good buy for the parents and a great activity for kids to learn critical thinking skills.
