This is a well-made fully plastic body, with a rotary sharpening mechanism so it’ll probably outlive you! Nicely priced but now we come to the caveat: the sharpened pencils don’t have points as shown in the illustration: they’re long, yes- but blunt. You are expected to touch up the point with the (provided) sandpaper patch in the box. Works in some instances- if you’re using colour pencils, a very sharp point is a waste as the coloured lead breaks immediately. But in normal use, for regular pencils, this becomes an additional step to achieving a sharp point. This point (pun intended) apart, it’s a great buy!

Works as described, the blunt knob is really cool. Sharpened, charcoal and water color pencil, there were no broken leads and the sharpness can be adjusted as desired. The disposable box is huge and it can really help in avoiding any mess. I believe the manufacturer should reduce the price and make it more affordable for everyone, because I feel there are no expensive gear in the product except the brilliant design. Many artists would love to use this product and even the sales will be high, just a thought :)

Very conveinient to get a fairly long point on a pencil using this sharpener. Have been using it for a couple of months and have not faced any issue so far. In fact I don't have broken points even in pencils that has this problem in some other sharpeners. Also, much easier than sharpening with a blade or knife.
