The base turns black: I think it's a problem with all the kettle... we make sure that there is sufficient water before turning it on... still the base is burning due to coil may be...

BUYER BEWARE. DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF PURCHASING THIS KENT KETTLE (16052 / 1.8L / Borosilicate Glass). We purchased through Silkrute India, Invoice Number : REMF-3334, and it suddenly stopped working within a few months of purchase. It is within warranty but KEEP IN MIND BEFORE BUYING THAT KENT warranty is DIFFICULT TO ACCESS. Tried to submit a request on their website multiple times but keep getting ERROR messages. The website wants the customer to download an app (!) to submit a request. Finally sent an email. The KENT website for customer service is as garbage as this KENT Kettle 16052.
