I bought a Kent Electric kettle from Silkrute on 25th Aug 2023 where I was offered manufacturers warranty of one year. In Feb 2024, the glass section of kettle separated from the plastic section and I registered a complaint at Kent. The service engineer visited our residence in Noida on 1st March. I showed him the kettle & bill too (which I sent to him by whatsapp too). He assured me the parts would be replaced within a week but I don't know hear from him for 2 weeks. I called him on 19th March 2024 and he told me that he couldn't do anything and "do whatever I want.". I called the customer care number and surprisingly managed to speak to a customer care agent who assured me that my complaint would be looked into. Thereafter on 28th March 2024, I received a phone call from lady who said she was calling from Kent service centre.She asked me to WhatsApp her the pictures of the bill and of the kettle which I have done so. On 4th April 2024, when I sent her a whatsapp message asking for an update , she said that the replacement has been approved and it will be delivered to me soon. On 15th April 2024, she said the same thing again. Now she is not answering my calls or WhatsApp messages. I have called kent service centre times and even sent a email but no response regarding replacement of product. Now I am told to go to the service centre to get it repaired. Do not buy Kent - pathetic after sales service
