Good quality cast iron, pre seasoned, need to season once with oil after every wash to maintain the non sticky behaviour and safe from oxidation. Its a must for every kitchen as not to use those chemical coated non-sticky as after 1 to 3 years they looses chemical coating and that gets mixed with food after every heating in some amount. Which causes various health issues problems .

If you’re a novice, don’t buy it; buy it only if you’re an expert & have at least 10 years of dosa cooking experience.You might be wondering what’s the plus point? If you master the craft, this tawa will make you the most crispy & thin dosas you make in your life; additionally it gives you a satisfaction that you’re not cooking on Teflon. Maintenance is also crucial otherwise you will rust it out.

the tawa is thin at the centre and thick at the periphery , heat will be uneven rendering the food burnt at the centre and uncooked at the periphery, rendering the product useless.BETTER KEEP AWAY !!

The cast iron pan is well built and heavy as it should be. The surface is rough. But the main disadvantage is that even after seasoning several times, it does not have even a semblance of Non stick properties. Not a single dosa has come out good from the pan. It could be due to improper heat conduction.Not satisfied
