I have used it to make crepes, pancakes, dosas, omelette without oil - Nothing sticks to the tawa. While making paranthas, very little oil is required. Tawa heats up pretty fast.Advice:1) not to cook on high heat 2) avoid putting water when tawa is hot, let it cool down on its own. 3) use plastic scrubber to wash.Silkrute delivered within a day, packaging was alright.

Disadvantages
Buy from local shop instead of Silkrute. Prestige is a good company but tawa bought from Silkrute wasn't good. Dosa burnt at centre, heating was very uneven. Not good quality. Had to stop.using it just after 2 months.

Bought this 2 weeks ago. The pan is not flat at all. If you pour oil, it will flow to the sides and won't hold in the middle. Definitely not for frying eggs and frying other items. It will work well with anything dry like roti or pancake.
