It is absolutely not flat. There is a bulge in the centre, so when you pour the batter its all going to slip out. You definitely cant make a dosa or an omelette on it. It can be used for rotis only. And even the non stick is not of good quality.

Edited to give feedback after 3 months:Non stock coating is gone bad. I use only on medium heat, use only silicon spatula, and nylon gentle scrub to clean. Not worth the price for such short duration ??My first review:I was looking for a flat tawa and found this amazing one on Silkrute. Sturdy handles, perfectly flat and good thickness. Exactly the way I was looking for

I am writing this after a year. I purchased this in Silkrute as the other top brand non stick was not good. The coating was going away too soon and I had to buy every 3 months.I tried this for the first time and it's just fine till now. The wooden spoon they gave broke in a few months and I used with steel ones after that (not too hard). There is no scratch and the coating hasn't come off at all. This is totally worth it.
