It is no doubt a good item but there are drawbacks. 1) The utensils are small which do not hold much memos. 2) Should have one heating and 3 utensils for steaming.

Started using this finally, after ordering and returning 3 other Vinod steamers due to size issues, dents, scratches, etc. all those were returned unused, so the steam issue I faced after I started using this one. It's overall a good-looking product, but cannot give a 3 rating with food taking double the time and even more than that to steam. I use the steamer on induction only, nearly on a daily basis to steam my rice and side dishes, so I face it on a daily basis I used to have another local brand which I used on a daily basis at another location, for the last 7+ years, been using it for 10+ years but started using for daily steaming in last 7 years, never noticed steam to escape, as it has got a tighter fit Some parts of the steamer feels n sounds as if tin plate is used, returned once thinking it's a duplicate or complaint product as the handles have wide holes underneath and those handles are attached, I don't know how, looks like it won't last much and r gonna come out any of these days As lot many people have mentioned, the base utensil is thicker, I cooked a gravy dish and it worked well but the top steamers are really thin, to the point that dents can b easily formed even while washing it, which even the new unused ones had, I returned one on dents n scratches, but next one also had dents n by then I got tired n needed a steamer desperately n decided to hold on to it The main reason I decided to pick Vinod was the holes are small, while other brands, I noticed, holes r bigger, so lot of food might fall down the holes, talking abt steaming rice, chopped veggies, etc., also never tried the brand before, n wanted to try Overall, it's just ok, if u want a stramer with small holes, this is good but fuel efficiency, quality of steamer trays, even the way the handles are fixed are all negative
