Excellent product does the job wonderfully well. Had been using a prestige non stick sauce pan before this. But it lost all its non stick coating. Zeroed in on this after reading a lot of reviews. The reviews were spot on. This sure is a quality product. But that is to be expected from the Hawkins brand. This one has believe it or not a 5 year warranty. That alone should be a testament to the quality of the pan. Log on to hawkinscookers.com and register your product as soon as you receive the product.The prestige sauce pan weighed less than this one. But it's pouring tip was not aligned as a result liquid spilled while pouring. Most sauce pans seems to have this problem. Not this one. The pouring tip is just perfect. Hard to spill unless you are trying real hard. Have been using daily for more than a month, primarily for making tea. Heats up quickly and not much of a hassle cleaning. Though this is not a non stick pan use a plastic scrubber to clean. Make sure to clean thoroughly each time after use as "baked-on" food materials are very hard to clean.I bought this for Rs 698. The MRP of the product is Rs 735. Currently it is around Rs 733. Come on amazon at least give a 5 percent discount to people. If it is less than 700 buy from amazon otherwise buy from a local store. The photos are taken after a month's daily use.

Its really useful but at the same time quite heavy if its full. Edit: After many months of usage we have found that the pan is hardly sufficient for 1 litre milk because once the milk starts to boil, if not offed within 1 or 2 secs it overflows immediately as there is less height above the 1 litre milk level. I wish Hawkins made bigger sized pans with all these features.

The pan seems to be durable and sturdy . It's not nonstick , so food does stick to the sides and bottom . You need to be very careful while cleaning if you want it to last long . Spout makes pouring super easy . The only issue is it's capacity . Its mentioned as 1.5 l but holds only 1 l milk . A big drawback . Moreover you can boil only half a lt. Of milk and even that spills over 90% of the time . Check the pic .

I am one of those child who would like to add some comfort in the lives of their mothers....All my earlier saucepans had outlived their lives. I convinced my mother that this FUTURA saucepan would certainly end her kitchen woes. And the product has outlived its expectations. Brews enough tea or coffee or milk easily for a family of four(of course, if your headcount is more, it won't let you down !!!). The spout is so well designed that the pouring of liquid to the cup is like a breeze. The handle is fitted to the main body with two thick rivets and is firmly held by two screws to the bakelite portion. The product is a bit heavy and takes some time for adjusting to the housewife.The only sad part is the price but then you are getting a FUTURA product and there should not be any haggle about the price. Go for the "WITHOUT LID" product as they are charging you around 150/- bucks for the Stainless Steel Lid which is certainly NOT necessary. This product is a must have for any kitchen where you need an utensil for boiling tea or coffee..... A MUST HAVE FOR EVERY KITCHEN...GO FOR IT !!

The Hawkins Futura Hard Anodised Sauce Pan is a perfect solution for your everyday kitchen needs such as making tea. Tea is something which has to be made multiple times during the course of the day which requires a pan that can be cleaned easily, that is durable and that has a perfect spout. This sauce pan from Hawkins Futura has all the qualities that I just mentioned. The fact that I bought this pan more than a month ago and I have made countless amount of tea in it since then is a clear giveaway of the quality of this pan. In fact one of those times I even burnt the tea to charcoal but still the pan came out as new as it ever was after cleaning. I don't think that there can be a tougher acid test to check the quality of this pan. So I give a big tick to this pan in terms of DURABILITY. The photos that I have uploaded is not of a new pan, it was clicked just before writing this review. Even the photos suggest that the look of the pan has not changed one bit despite such heavy usage. This even proves that the material of the pan is stain free and the hard anodised quality doesn't rip off because it is an inherent quality and not a coating.The best thing about this pan is that it gets heated up really quickly. Any other non-stick pan or a heavy duty sauce pan which show off a thick metal take a lot of time to heat up. Surprisingly, this Hawkins Futura Sauce pan despite looking extremely heavy built takes very little time to heat up. You can actually make your tea in less than 5 minutes in this pan which is what the modern generation wants.Eventhough this pan is not credited non-stick tag but still I think it possesses qualities that are similar to a non-stick pan. When I burnt my tea in it I thought that the burnings which got stuck would never be removed. But to my amazement, the burnings could easily be removed just by washing it under the tap. This proves that the pan is very EASY TO CLEAN as well.Last but not the least, the price of this Hawking Futura Sauce Pan with lid is quite reasonable considering the fact that it promises a really long haul in your kitchen. If you can get a reliable sauce pan for your kitchen at around ₹950 which helps you in a range of kitchen activities then it is definitely bang for one's buck. Surely a VALUE FOR MONEY product.Highly Recommended.

Hands down the best saucepan in the market. Far better than the aluminium stuff and the size is perfect. I ordered one earlier but might buy two or three more very soon. Papa is definitely in love with this saucepan for his chai because it doesn't make the "shhuuuurrr" sounds when you shake your tea or add cold milk to a hot saucepan. Definitely more of an acquired taste if you don't bother about the sounds your cookware makes - it's quiet and calm AF to use this saucepan. Super easy to clean.

The saucepan has a wide easy pour spout, is hard anodized, has embossed internal markings for half litre, 1 litre, and 1.5 litres; has induction base so that it can be used on magnetic induction cooktop.The handle is riveted with visible rivets inside and outside the saucepan. The pan feels balanced when held on the handle and does not feel heavy when empty. The packing is basic.The model number is Hawkins Futura 'IS20' which means its without lid and has induction base. (IS21 has lid.) Manufacturer has guranteed it for 5 years.I recommend to all those who loves tea.

I recently bought a similar product from a much expensive chain associated with the most known chef; however, it was impossible to pour the tea in a cup using that and every time pouring tea resulted in a mess. This one is a charm compared to that. I had used it previously and it lasted me 10 years. Changed that one just for the sake of change. So, a top buy :-)

Oay.. its review time.. Using this sauce pan for more than 6 months.. look is vry nice.. strong.. However, few adjustable demerits are there.. You may not be able to control boiling tea in high flame and most of the time end up boilled out.. In steel, once you lower the flame, tea or milk immediately settle down but do not except the same with hard anodised material. Cleaning is bit stressfull as most of the time tea or milk stains stays in surface or side. The handle screw attracts tea and milk stains if not cleaned properly.

As is the case of Hawkins anodized/ futura products, this one is also a good buy. In my opinion, instead of steel lid, company should have provided glass lid for better view of item being cooked.
