If you are upgrading from aluminium to steel..keep in mind that food stick most of the times in steel utensils..i didn't like this pressure..unlike my old aluminium cooker..food stick to bottom and burn..you will have to keep stirring to prevent food to stick

Using the product from last 6 month,the base plate came out of a sudden, replaced the same under warranty, but the replaced product also has the same issue. Hugh issue with the product. Not at all recommended.

I was wrong, the difference is night and day between our old 25+ year old Prestige and this new one I picked up. Weight, safety valve etc everything has been redesigned, even the lid has been made deeper so it doesn't jam on a vessel lid when you pack it to the top with rice, dal, vegetables etc.
