Its more flat and looks kind of a pan. So check your usage first before buying. I bought for cooking rice, but giving me trouble with water leaking with whistle. Sturdy design and good quality

The lid does not close easily and that leads to escape of steam and drying up of the water in the cooker. The lid should fit seamlessly without having to struggle with it. Was very surprising to experience this since we have used Prestige for 50+ years.

Steel isn’t as good as of futuras. Appears heating isn’t even as some part of the food gets burnt out. And all Steam spills out particles around nozzle up to a radius of 7 cms which gets tougher to clean. Not quite happy with this product from Prestige.
