Making a rice cooker is no rocket science by now. So how could , really, how could a company like Pigeon dish out such a bad product.??The performance of this product depends on the heating element, the thermostat and ... the most important thing the quality of the BOWL in which the rice is cookedPigeon has compromised on this crucial component. The rice STICKS at the bottom. So all the joy of using a rice cooker, the time saved, the neatness, is undone here.One spends more time cleaning the stuck rice from the bottom of the bowl.Every time, no matter what quality of rice, no matter how much water one adds... it all ends up in spending time, soaking the bowl with soapy water overnight, and then carping off the rice from the bottom of the bowl.so, just don't buy this....

Please see your specifications, taking so much time to get heated cooking time is more and can cook for 2 people maximum.you can go for any other cooker.
