Good product and cooks very well, Although containers can't be placed in it but cooks sufficient quantity for two people or baby food consuming minimum of gas.But there are some precautions need to be taken care of1. Use smaller gas burner with low flame only, cooking on high flame or bigger burner will melt the safety valve. However, cooking on low flame it cooks very well and quickly2. Watch your hands while opening it after cooking as upper lid handle is not properly insulated. See picture attachedApart from this, a product is good buy !!!

Let me give a practical experience how this hawkins miss mary aluminium pressure cooker works:1)While Cooking,Dal gets spilled and overflows the nozzle portion of the safety valve and vent (The big problem and entire cooker gets affected).So users must be very careful while cooking.2)Very small vessel needed whenever a user is going to cook something.So must be get ready with a small vessel since product doesnt comes with vessels suitable for this cooker3) To avoid 'safety valve melting' issue,kindly add sufficient amount of water before you start cooking-I forgot to mention in the review. I am adding this point additionally now to help you friends.Pros:Energy efficient,5 Year warranty (users can be informed about service center locations and numbers all over india in the book which is very helpful!!! Cooking time is minimum.Boiling small amount of vegetables doesn't take much time (like mentioned in book).Cons:No induction bottom.(so those who use electric induction stoves wont get benefited.As I mentioned,the cooking material eg dal spilled and overflows at times (so users cannot predict when it oozes out ,when it wont oozes out the cooking material).I never experienced this before with hawkins-Dilemma Aspect !I hope my review helps..Thank you for reading!

Hawkins is working perfectly fine????????I got the 3 litre indalium miss Mary cooker, lid, gasket, whistle, guarantee card, operating instruction manual, service centre directory, dos and don'ts leaflet.I have been using Hawkins for over a decade now. I needed one more for my family member. It is too quick to cook. Hassle free cooking and 100% easy maintenance. Set the right quantity for cooking. It can comfortably cook quantity required for 3 to 4 member family.I read practically all bad and good reviews on Amazon. Guys just confidently go for Hawkins....you will not be disappointed.Just incase if you receive a defective piece .... I am sure you can return it within the time frame.Enjoy cooking with Hawkins!!!

This is simply the best and most efficient pressure cooker that I have ever used.It is very easy to use and clean (most importantly!).It is very compact and you can easily cook food for 4-5 or even 6 in it.Since it is compact, it cooks fast.This has soon become our everyday go to Cooker. and we use it as our primary cooker though we have better quality higher capacity cookers in place. All because of it's compactness, simplicity and fast cooking.Every home must have one. Miss Mary is an age old brand known for its economical rate and quality..The only drawback I found is it wont work on induction.. and no one expects it to at this price point.

Although the product is sold under Hawkins brand name, but it does not actually belong to Hawkins. If you looking for Hawkins the do not buy. Rest it works like cooker but you can easily get it at a lower price in normal market. Don't waste money as it is not Hawkins.

Good product. Light weight. Roomy. The ring loosely fits on the lid. Just got it today. Cooked food in it. So far so good. The whistle has a funny sound to it. But the product's a decent purchase.
