Overall the product is very good, locking system is simple and capable. Since this a an induction base item but especially in case to use on gas hob, please note that the base is bit thin as compared to normal cooker.

I find the items cooked are bitter in taste. Initially I find it very hard to eat. So dumped the food. I tried cleaning the rice and dal several times to rule out they’re not the reason. After using several days and cleaning the cooker many times there is reduction in bitterness. Even now the food comes from bottom layer tastes bitter. Wondering do they apply any chemicals to keep the sheen or does it come from Aluminium metal which is causing the bitterness. Appreciate if someone faced the same issue like me share their experience. Amazon and Butterfly must take the responsible and provide us the reason. It is very important.
