The middle layer of triply is a heat conducting layer which is sandwiched between food grade SS 304 surgical stainless steel and induction friendly magnetic stainless steel. The kadai looks durable and strong but this review is more about the dimensions. Because it has a sizeable lip, the internal diameter of the kadai is 9.6 inches. With the lip, the diameter is about 10.1 inches. This item is marked as a 24 cm kadai on the box (am not sure why the sellers use inches for item description when the manufacturer specifies only cm on the boxes). The next bigger size, 26 cm, does not seem to be available on Silkrute. So one has to be content with this or order the 28 cm one which is 2 sizes bigger.

I had been looking for a small SS Kadhai to cook for just one or two persons. I am happy to have purchased the STAHL Kadhai, though the price is on the higher side. It is solidly built and also very pretty. What I like is that the handles on the lid and the Kadhai are solidly riveted by SS rivets, and they are strong. On the underside the handles have a plastic grip which allows you to hold them even when the Kadhai is hot. The Kadhai hasn’t shown any rust spots so far - after 2 months of use. So the stainless steel is high quality. I have been using it on Induction Stove and it heats up very fast. Would recommend to my friends.

Loved it. Though it's not mentioned anywhere I seasoned it before my first use, just in case. I made chicken curry and it turned out really well. I didn't use water to cook, and yet nothing stuck. Really happy with the purchase. I bought the 30cm kadai, and it's apt for my 6 member family. Easy to stir as well.

Great stainless kadhai, easy to clean, aesthetic, if used properly food will not stick or burn. Don't put it on high flame or let the empty kadhai heat before you add oil. It's heavy bottomed so it will cook well.I wish the product designer had thought of providing insulated handles for the kadhai and the lid. They get too hot to handle without a cloth. Regardless, I love cooking in this. I ordered another one after testing the first one out.

I am using kadai in 5 sizes and pans in 2 different sizes. Doesn’t stick if properly heated. It heats evenly anyway. Easy to clean. Easy to maintain. Dishwasher safe. All in all am loving it. Go for it. Best buy. You won’t regret.
