Vinod cast iron tawa is a very worst product, because heat is not distributed equally to every corner, in the centre Roti starts to burn.It is a very thin tawa, it does not look like how it is described in the description.Ultimately don't purchase this worst product ever.

We are alreadynfans of team Vinod for past 5yrs. Another milestone achieved with this product range. As expected, it is easy to use, easy and very heavy. One suggestion is regarding the handle cloth made cover with Tawa, it got burned from the edge while cooking. Luckily everything was in control. Though the idea provide that good, but cant take chances while in kitchen. Ignoring this accessory, product is just woow.

This item looks nice, quality of the material also good. However, the most important is, the heat is not transferred to other parts of the item when it used on stoves and Dosas get burned at the middle and other parts not cooked. whether I can return this item, instead I buy some other item and no cash back required. pls reply.

The cast iron pan is well built and heavy as it should be. The surface is rough. But the main disadvantage is that even after seasoning several times, it does not have even a semblance of Non stick properties. Not a single dosa has come out good from the pan. It could be due to improper heat conduction.Not satisfied

I have been using a non stick Dosa tawa for long but was very worried about the toxic fumes. I was scared of buying cast iron because I heard it’s high maintenance. Even this one is more maintenance than non stick rawa but it’s much healthier.It’s well seasoned but you still need to do 1 round of seasoningI apply oil everytime before storing. So far so good. Would have loved to have an insulated handle. They do give a cloth cover for the handle but it’s pretty much useless.Overall - amazing buy!
