I am writing this review just after 1 use and I would like to mention here for those who buy the products based on the reviews, go for it without a second thought. Forget about all those negative reviews bcoz they r the ppl who have not followed the instructions given in the user manual and that is why their Kadai got discoloured. The product is wow, if seller can reduce the price a bit.

It's v good. We even boil milk on v first use for Rubari=Kheer type milk recipe, it was excellent use of kadhai. We r v happy. Easily cleaned. No sticking in even milk. Provided constantly stirring often milk to prevent burning. But really thik bottom.??

This triply stainless steel kadai is an excellent addition in my kitchen. Earlier I used to use usual Wrought Aluminium Kadai, later on I come to know about Aluminium Side effets on the health..was eager to choose a stainless steel one..Initially shortlisted international brands like Meyer & Bergner..but before that I just want to give this kadai a shot. So I just brought it ..& started using it extensively. This kadai proved its worth in every aspect be it evenly heat distribution, efficient cooking of the ingredients, ease of handling the food while cooking. Its flat plane bottom gives even spread of oil in the base, its geometrical profile gives space for handling the cooking material you can easily manoeuvre your ladle inside it..cleaning by hand is super easy though not advisable in dishwasher..colours fade (of metallic part) when it goes under the dishwasher but later when u ll clean it by hand these marks & spots go away eventually. This is a multipurpose utility in my kitchen as I also use it as dough making utensil (Hand kneading) as holding this utensil come easy with its long dual handle & then u can left the dough as it is using its glass cover. While preparing food (specially while frying the veggies) this glass cover retains the condensate droplets of vapour & while lifting the cover these water droplet goes into oil / frying item which is little unwanted. So every time we have to careful while lifting the cover especially when frying vegetables or fish (in more oil).Otherwise this kadai has worth its price. Silkrute delivery was ok but while shopping for additional one from local utensil shop I got 20% discount on all Hawkins items which is never available on Silkrute. So although pricing is Ok but discount offered…I am not appreciating Silkrute in that sense.

Liked it very much . Wanted a good quality steel kadai and got this after a thorough research and I'm very happy with my choice. Lid could have been of better design. Its not of perfect size and there is no hole through which steam gets outI recommend it....

I have been using alda try ply for some time. Tried my hands on hawkins try ply steel for the first time. Hawkins has never let me down. It is cheaper in cost but no compromise with quality.Solid body, adequate thinkness, a bit heavy.Gifted it to my mom. She has been using it for a month now. Very much happy with no complaints of food burns yet even with dry veg.
