The pan is thick bottomed and distributes heat evenly while cooking. Have been using it since a couple of weeks now and very satisfied with the quality. Have tried simple stir fries as well as shallow fry with oil, and the food has not burnt even once. Due to uniform distribution of heat, the vegetables are evenly cooked, so there is no case of some parts being overcooked and some undercooked. Only small drawback is the pan is a little heavy.

Food stick on pan, please vuse medium heat once pand heated well than it would be easy for cooking,,,,,can be use as a healthy cooking options pand. If you don't want to use aluminumI suppose to bug 24 inch. For 4 members family.. But that was not available.Thanks?

Yet another excellent 'lockdown purchase'!!This pan hasn't been able to take time off, ever since it reached me. I've tried everything- bulls eye, omelette, dry dishes, gravies, fish fry etc- that too in very little oil- and everything has come out well.It does get oil stains, sometimes hard and tough ones too- and I clean them off with vinegar, or a mixture of baking soda and vinegar.What I've seen is, if the flame is low all through ( not even medium, but low), nothing sticks to the pan. But, if it does, all you need to do is turn off the flame and leave the pan to cool off. Everything that has stuck, gets 'unstuck'!??The wooden handle ( as well as the lid knob) is an added advantage. Absolutely cool!I also use this as a tadka pan and in my opinion, the Indian tempering trick will transform your triply cooking pan into a nonstick pan!A word to the wise: this is a shallow pan. 22 cm -capacity 1 litre. You can cook only a very small portion. But still and all, it's a pan well worth the money spent on it.

But, inside I think everything was there, frying pan, spatula, scrubber, guarantee card, booklet.Sturdy, matte finish helps clean easily. Photo taken after first wash.Handle feels like real wood although not mentioned by Hawkins.5 years guarantee is great, though I don't know it's effectiveness.Heat distribution is quite OK.

The pan if used as per the instruction properlyit will function almost like a non stick pan and is a very healthy alternative to teflon coated pans which might cause cancer in future

EDIT AFTER USING THIS FOR 1 YEAR***The quality is definitely not adequate for you to continue using it for multiple years.The heating is uneven now, with some spots becoming really hot while others not so much, as is visible in the water droplet splash test.The pan is definitely not bad, I still use it, but it would have been a much more wise decision to spend some more money right at the outset and buy a Stahl or Bergener or even VinodOriginal entry is below -This is a well built pan, and offers good value for the price that you are paying.I have a Stahl Kadhai bought for 3k, and there definitely a noticeable difference in quality of these two utensils, even though both are made of the same 18/10 steel. The Stahl kadhai just seems more non-stick, more tough and longer lasting that the Hawkins panSo, If you are on a very tight budget, the Hawkins pan would do just fine, you wont have any complains with it. However, if you can shell out some more money, I would recommend going for more premium priced pans/kadhai's since we anyways will be using this for a lot many years!!

Liked the product .. just a little difficult to wash. the oil stains dont go off easily so sometimes it's difficult.. but overall the quality is superb . I bought the product because of the brand associated with it and since we make eatables in it so we need to ensure that the material of the utensil should be of best quality & Hawkins is a brand I trust .. hopefully hawkins will maintain its standards in all products

I was reluctant to buy this product ...however I feel it is a good buy .....it is not pure steel for sure or triply steel too ....as when I compare with my other triply steel vessels ...this has more of a alluminium feel ......still I rate it five as it is very handy n very useful....I use it for eggs ..dosa n bread ...the result is good ... how ever I avoid making sour gravy or do not use it to warm sour gravy. ...I liked the cover you should pay extra for the same
