I have tried many oil dispensers but have had problems with cleaning them and managing a good lid. I found this one to be by far the best - in terms of functionality, ability to clean (remember it holds oil - most other materials in which dispensers are made - e.g., steel, plastic - end up with a gooey mess). Thin glass though - so handle with care. The spout cap keeps popping out due to air pressure. I solved that problem by using a loose fitting 10 ml medicine measuring cap!!

My old oil dispenser is plastic one which has so many oil marks which are difficult to get rid off so I thought to change that one to stainless steel or glass dispenser. I chosen this good size 1000ml glass oil dispenser which is so elegant and transparent. Suitable for our cooking. Easy to find dust particles if there is any. Nozzle has silicone cap so there won’t be oil leakages and it’s easy to open when we pour the oil. Lid is air tight and it does not come off when we pour the oil. Perfect for everyday cooking.

It stayed intact for 6 months. A heavier glass jar knocked it at the side while it was being taken out of the cupboard. Cracked immediately. It looks thinner than the glass beakers found in chem labs of schools. Maybe toughen and thicken the glass a bit?
