I have just recently come to try Biotique products. This is a very good soap with a great delicate fragrance. The effect on the skin is soft and it does not dry out the skin. Major portion of the ingredients are chemical so they are hidden.They don't disclose it even if you ask them.Package printed with misinformation like "100% Botanical extracts" is to fool the customer.Time for some calculation.Lets add the ingredients-Basil leaf-0.5%Parsley leaf-0.5%Coconut oil-28%Aeandi oil-3.5%Neem oil-0.2%Ritha fruit-1.0%Wheat germ oil-0.1%Sugar-6%We will look at cleanser base later.So the ingredients that we know that are natural are only 39.8%,remaining i.e., 60.2% is some harsh chemical which might do harm to your skin so they don't want to give its details.I did some googling and came to know that Cleanser base is a combination of chemicals,so 34.1% of the soap is made of chemicals.This leaves us with 26.1% of ingredients which arent even listed,which is even worse. They can be anything.Lastly I know its hard to make a soap with 100% botanical extracts so biotique should atleast provide the ingredients and keep their customers informed and remove the misinformation printed on their package.
