This works same as a plucked however instead of plucking 2-3 hair at a time it plucks more hair. Just bend spring with gentle pressure between fingers. This one needs more love. Like most good things in life, it requires practice and patience, but the results speak for themselves. I finally learned to use it the right way after about 20 minutes of failed attempts. In this context, it helps to watch instructional videos on YouTube. A word of caution, however: DO NOT use near the eyebrow region. I tried using it on my forehead and accidentally pulled a chunk out of my eyebrow. While a manual epilator is painful, it shouldn't bother those of us who are already used to regular sessions of threading/ waxing. It can also be a time-consuming process. But the best part is that with this there are no threading-related injuries or post-wax rashes that simply refuse to heal. Moreover, I do not feel any lasting tenderness of the skin usually experienced with other hair removal methods. Being a DIY enthusiast, I'm stoked that I won't have to rely on a beautician for this purpose anymore. I'm yet to find out for myself how long one wand lasts, but one YouTuber said hers lasted for a year before it needed replacing; and I bought it for less than half the price I pay at the salon per session. This product works.. those who say it doesn't, have been using it incorrectly.. I have alot of facial hair due to hormonal issue. This product is perfect to remove them. I use it to remove hair from cheeks, forehead and upper lips. It removes it from the roots. It is indeed painful when you use it for the first time, but the pain is similar if not intense than what you feel during threading. You have to make an inverted U as shown in the product image and then turn the knob held in the left hand in anticlockwise direction and the knob held in the right hand in clockwise direction. This way the inverted U moves upwards and removes the hair.

Relax, it does not break the hair if done discreetly! I have used this product for the first time on upper lips. It has been two weeks now, it hasn't grown back. Even threading isn't that efficient. I totally loved this product. Its a life savior for lazy girls like me who don't want to go parlor every two weeks. Only problem is that it two me some time the first time. But it will take lesser time in next use. Nice invention ! Go for it !!
