I was using Amway satinique shampoo for many years. It kept my hair healthy and problem free. Recently they have stoped that shampoo and replaced it with a new one. Since I did not like the new shampoo, I started looking for a shampoo that is as good as the Satinique shampoo. I have dandruff problem in my scalp. As a result, most shampoos create alergic reaction that lead to excessive poping up of dandruff. So I used to buy a shampoo, try it for few days and if it does not suit my skin then I have to give it up and try another. Then suddenly I came across this Wow ACV shampoo. I have been using apple cider vinegar for my dandruff and it works very well to control. I was surprised to know that a shampoo contains ACV. After reading the reviews I felt that it is a mild shampoo. So I ordered the it on a lightning deal. Now that I have started using the shampoo, the good thing is that has suit my scalp. I am not experiencing any uncomfortable issues. Here are the positive points that I consider about the shampoo. * Mild - There is not much smell. Even the lather is very less comparing to the usual shampoos like clinic, head and shoulder etc. That is a good sign that it contains less chemicals. * Dandruff control - I would not claim that it has cured the problem but has reduced it. For better result, once in a week one should apply ACV directly on the head before talking bath. Even though the shampoo is said to contain vinegar, there is no burning sensation or head smelling like vinegar after bath. * Convenient to use - Unlike other shampoo bottles that come with a cap, this one comes with a pressing type dispenser. So there is little chance of excess pouring by mistake or missing the cap while opening. In terms of negatives, I only consider that this is a bit pricey and is not available in local shops. I am also a bit concerned about the continuous availablilty of the shampoo. I am hoping that it will not be discontinued after I get used to it. Overall I recommend this to people with dandruff or sensitive skin which is allergic to harsh chemicals. But dont expect any magic to happen such that your dandruff will be cured completely. It will just clean your hair without causing much side effects..

So I heard many good reviews about this and decided to give it a go. I washed my hair every day with this for a month along with the conditioner and the 2 oils from WOW, and my scalp became extremely dry. I followed the instructions on the bottle, and it was just horrible. I found that while my hair appeared to be softer, the hair fall increased a lot - it was almost like a clump in my hand. I then used it every 2 days on my head, but it only got worse. A few days ago I noticed that the dandruff had come to the very front of my hairline, and I immediately stopped using this. My hair has NEVER been so dry, and my hair fall was never this bad. I have now gone back to using L'Oreal Professional, and my hair fall has improved. I am also oiling my hair using organic coconut oil and it's slowly feeling less and less dry. Long story short: Please do not buy this product. It is really bad. I have used Apple cider vinegar with the mother on my hair before and it never became this dry. Something is very off with this product. I would strongly advise caution to anyone seeking to purchase this product. I actually want a refund, it's one of the worst shampoos I've ever tried.

Infact they are cleansing agents and it's fine to use a shampoo with sulphates. No they don't cause cancer, don't cause any illness as far as most medical researches have shown. Just condition your hair well with some oil or conditioner. Parabens are sometimes bad, sometimes not much harmful. While it has been shown in a few researches that Parabens can be absorbed topically, there is still very rare evidence that it can damage your health. They are bad for your hair, so steer clear of such shampoos. This WOW shampoo is a decent shampoo, nice smelling, consistent and we'll marketed, but the asking price is too much. I would probably go for some other shampoo from Himalaya Herbals or Khadi.
