The shampoo smells great but it makes the hair really dry bordering on fizzy and rough. I used it by diluting with water and still felt it was making my hair too brittle. I had another person try it and they had a similar experience. Maybe okay for really greasy and oily haired people but would avoid it in general.

Before I start the review, one must know that I have waist length, naturally straight hair and a scalp that got very dry because of dandruff and I can't use oil on my scalp as it makes the condition worseI have now used this product for an entire month which means 12 washes and I can safely say, the shampoo and conditioner may first seem a destructive choice to certain hair types but if you stick with it, it can actually make a difference to your hair. After the first wash, my scalp was feeling inflamed and I blamed it on the shampoo assuming it was very harsh on my skin but decided to give it one more try and since then, I have never looked back. After spending a bit of time on Google, I was able to identify the reason for the inflamed feeling, and that was dandruff and itchiness in the scalp reacting to a proper cleanser, which was this shampoo. After using the shampoo and conditioner, my hair is completely untangled and smooth. Immediately after the wash, it may seem that there is a little frizz but give it a couple of hours and it will turn into super smooth and manageable hair. Depending on the quantity you use, the volume of your hair is determined. If you barely use any conditioner, it will leave it voluminous yet soft and if you want a slightly more sleek look, just use a little more of it. Both the shampoo and conditioner lather well and you dont need more than 3 tablespoons for either if you have a normal to oily scalp. For a dry scalp, about 2 tablespoons should be fine. In a month, I have only used half the bottle.My mother who has curly waist length hair used the product once and is in love with as it leaves her curls looking smooth not dry and manages her fries considerably well. She has to use a very tiny amount for these results is what Im told.Did it reduce my dandruff? I dont think So, but this could also be a result of my surroundings.Does it make my hair and scalp feel clean? 100%Does it make the hair smooth? YesDoes it make the hair shiny? 50%Would I recommend It? Yes and No, i would advise you to buy it only if your have identified your scalp and hair type and then decide if you need this product or something elseHow long does the fragrance last? For me, only 24 hoursWill I buy it again? Maybe, but I would like to try the other variants of the brand as well and work out which is more effective

I bought this shampoo cause it is free of silicones, parabens and colorants. Shampoo smells strong fragrance of strawberries. Shampoo textures was great cleans all impurities from the hair and it makes some how little bit dry hair after some hours from the wash. Shampoo feels very transparent from the bottle and outside too. Recommended to use on regular basis to see good results and make hair healthy.

Herbal essences is a good company. They should wrap their product in a wrap or put in a seal on top of bottle so that vendors can't take out 10-15 ml of shampoo, conditioners or body wash before delivering.

Sweet smelling shampoo with no parabens or silicone. As it has sulfate, it is a great choice for clarifying your here to remove any silicone build ups. It's slightly harsh for dry hair but work wonders for an oily scalp. I use this once a week before applying any DIY masks on my hair and it helps my hair to soak in all the goodness. For other wash days I generally use both silicone and sulfate free shampoo.
