FOS by Nature's Velvet is disappointing in the sweetness aspect. A teaspoon full did not impart sweetness to a mug of coffee! It just broke the bitterness. So those who buy it as a safe sugar substitute, you will have to probably put 2 large spoons of it in each mug.Ok, after a month of using, I am happy with the gentle sweetness 2 spoons of FOS gives my coffee.Glad to say that FOS is working well as a prebiotic, helping repair gut microbes, and increase good bacteria. It has reduced my acidity, bloating, and mild stomach pain that was bothering me for months :-)

I was careful initially as it was mentioned that this product could change the profile of gut bacteria and I didnt want to make any sudden changes. I started with 1/4 spoon doses and gradually increased to 2 spoons a day. The product suited me and I have ordered more.
