Being from Maharashtra. Kokum is a must for some specific dishes and without the tartiness of authentic kokum, those dishes never tasted as they ought to. However after much searching and experimenting with many varities of so called 'authentic Ratnagiri and Goan kokum' , i discovered this on Silkrute. Fortunately, i wasnt let down this time. It added the missing zing to those traditional dishes.
