I was a bit skeptical about buying this one, but trust me it is amazing. I baked 3 large cakes with this and they were awesome, the mango flavour is felt very nicely in every bite. Only complaint is regarding the tin in which it came, I had a really hard time to open it. Plz improve that if possible. Go for it without a doubt. Delivery was super fast as always.

The taste is quite good and you get the rich pulpy taste of the Alphonso mango. It is less sweeter than drinking Maaza or Slice. But a true mango lover would relish this more natural ‘pulpy’ taste.

Aroma is simply intoxicating. Smooth, bright hued pulp. Used it in cookies and halva. Addition of this pulp in desserts transformed the taste of the final product. I have not tasted the pulp as it is and hence cannot comment about sweetness. Highly recommended if you do not mind the price.

This is my third order. This is the best Alphonso pulp ever. As soon as you open the container the aroma of alphonso mango fills the room and the colour of thick pulp assures you of its freshness. Any one who wants to taste pure alphonso pulp without any additives, this is a definite recommendation. The taste of pulp is the same you you get if you had made the made from fresh mangos. It does not get better.

Tasted bitter. I used it to make mango cake and the cake too had a bitter aftertaste even after adding loads of sugar in the batter.

Bought two cans seperated by about 6 months. Both had very different taste. The good one was great and real good quality Alphonso. The not so great one was OK, but had tangyness not present in Alphonso mangoes. If there was any difference in the source, it's not mentioned.
