I was actually looking for a mulligatawny soup and thought this lentil soup would substitute … but not at all … it’s just not upto the Mulligatawny mark … but as a plain dal soup also too thin and after adding three packs still not good for a thick soup … watery at best …

I've bought this product twice now. Lentils are protein-rich, and when you have time constraints, I think this is a pretty good option. I love the rich flavor. The only issue (if at all) I have is that you've got to keep stirring the soup, else the components settle to the bottom. The soup is rather thin, maybe because they haven't used soup thickeners, which is good. But it really does not disappoint in terms of flavor.This may not be everyone's cup of tea...but this is just my opinion, and I will definitely recommend it. The only other con is that it's a little expensive.
