The tomatoes have a sharp taste that is perfect for pizza sauces. I just drained the can and took out the tomatoes, crushed them and added oregano as seasoning. This is a really good pizza sauce and gets you very close to authentic street side NY pizza joints. I would highly recommend this for pizza sauce. Not a big fan of tomato based pasta sauces so can’t comment there.

I used these tomatoes for making a marinara sauce and the result was amazing. The tomatoes are a bit sweeter than those we get in India and are less sour. The colour is good too. I used the marinara sauce for making a sphagetti dish to serve 4. Definitely buying it again.

The Import date was one year ago. Still it tasted good and made perfect pizza sauce. But very expensive for given quantity, hardly makes 4 pizzas.Also once opened, needs to be consumed within 2 days
