Our raw sugar is healthier than brown and white sugar as it is unrefined and free of chemical such as bleach. It contains minerals like phosphorus calcium iron magnesium and potassium. To make raw sugar the juice from sugarcane is first extracted then concentrated after which the solution is crystallized. Raw sugar is approximately 96-98% sucrose. The nearly pure sugar crystal is covered by a thin film of molasses which is then purified and the final product is our golden-brown raw sugar. It can be used in tea and coffee and for baking as well.

After a careful research I found this brand is the original and natural brown sugar. While most others are brown coated refined sugar, this is the only one which is not refined hence the original nature of the brown sugar is retained. I am a regular user of this brand and like it.

Taste really good & melts in your mouth. Calorie per tsp is also less… only 11 calories which is far less than regular sugar which is about 20 calorie per tsp. This is a better option for a natural sweetener rather than any other artificial sweetener.
