I have used it for noodles and soup - it lends a nice and complex umami flavor. Be careful not to put too much as it's quite salty. What's good: ? Good taste ? Needs very little per serving ? Doesn't have any unpleasant chemical taste Not so great: ? The packaging is plastic - wish it were glass. ? The price fell right after I bought it! Overall I am happy with the quality and taste.
