If 'sourness' had a smell, then this sumac smells exactly that way. Best sumac we have purchased in India. It's very hard to come by authentic middle-eastern ingredients in India. Either they are extremely high- priced, or unavailable. So, I am so happy with this purchase. We regularly use this over our fattoush and hummus.
