Advantages

Its an authentic product. But the olives tastes a bit like mustard. Contacted Borges India & they informed this oil indeed tastes a bit sour feeling like mustard. I hope they had a fruity flavor of extra virgin olive oil which is widely used in the USA. Still great product & feels extremely light and heaalthy

Advantages

Olive oil is available at every decent sopping mall or at the departmental stores. The main problem is all have plastic containers for storage of oil. Olive oil should preferably be stored in glass bottle/containers. Amazon provided the same that too extra virgin olive oil. Good.

Advantages

Got it cheaper here than Local Banya or Big Basket or any other sites. Packaging was good. Oil quality is very good. You don't feel as if you have just downed some unhealthy junk down your system.

Disadvantages

I'm an avid lover of olive oils with a good experience of using them. Extra Virgin olive oil should be kept in dark bottle made of glass, otherwise it's potency and taste deteriorates quickly with exposure to light. Olive oil does not get better with age, but rather it starts to break down over time. So, Extra Virgin olive oils should be consumed within an year whereas lower quality oils should be consumed within months. Sadly, the Borges Extra Virgin olive oil's bottle that I have received is made of transparent plastic with manufacturing date of 07/2014. So it is strongely recommended not to purchase this olive oil.

Advantages

The product arrived well on time though I was worried when initially I got a message that it's estimated date of delivery couldn't be given. I just have a tablespoon off the spoon directly and wash it down with warm water to which juice if half lemon and a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar is added. It helps with constipation and cleanses your system while the nutrients give you nourishment. Yet I gave only four stars because it arrived in green color plastic bottle and not in glass container as indicated while purchasing. But thankfully the product is good though I can't stop wishing it were in glass instead of unhealthy plastic.

i loved the product.... taste was good, bottle doesn't leak & spread as it contains oil flow control...u can use as per ur requirement...if u want more oil u can go for one side with a big hole..if u want less oil flow go for other side of glass bottle with small one...its a glass bottle & was packed awesomely...

I am a regular purchaser of this brand of oil, and here is a short summary: -Highly recommended - it is a good compromise between price and quality -Always check the manufacturing date if buying in a shop, never buy if it is more than a year old. Buying from Amazon, you generally get fresh stock. -The dark colored glass bottle is important, as it helps prevent oxidation and spoilage of the oil. So buy it from the vendor who offers the glass bottle, it is worth paying a slight premium. -Keep the bottle in a cool place away from heat and light

Advantages

Purchased once as 1 liter was not available at the nearby store. Local stores supply in glass bottle where as this came in a PET bottle. Somehow the oil purchased in local store seems to be bit thicker than this one.
