Fresh, natural & wholesome - Milk that speaks for itself. Still, there's a story to be told, and a pretty interesting one! How we came to be? During our childhood, Maa used to give us a glassful of milk right out of a clay pot as soon as we got back from school. This clay pot was kept in a Barosi. Barosi is a small pit dug on the ground lined with wooden pieces and cow dung cakes for heating the clay pot on a very low flame. After sitting for a couple of hours in the simmering flame of Barosi, the milk gets an amazingly earthy aroma. Yes, we can still smell it! And this memory is what gave birth to our brand - Barosi.

I have been PARTICULAR about using Ghee made the Bilona way since couple of years because of probiotic goodness which is recommended for growing children and also our bones…so when I ordered this ghee first time I just went with the reviews online +their own video + glass jar which is what I prefer than plastic dabba. I liked the mild smell and mild yellow ( unlike many darker ones) colour symbolic of cow ghee unlike buffalo ghee . Barosi ghee is well packed ( in fact BEST PACKING TO DATE in any ghee/glass I ordered making my husband joke ‘did they charge for this packing as well ?’ )& granular texture with mild aroma . I recommend it so far ??My only regret is it is cheaper than what I paid last week ??

Received ghee in glass bottles well sealed. Product is flavourful and value for money. The ghee was not liquid but soft and solid so Was wondering if it was genuine so tested to see if it melted in hand at body temperature. It did. So concluded it is genuine. Would buy again.
