Pretty good and consistent quality. Black, roasted Darjeeling tea and I have been buying this for more than last couple of years. Good flavour. I use below boiled water and one team spoon per cup type. Brew for 4 to 5 min. I have noticed flavour is better in ceramic/glass team pot compared to brewed in steel bowl. Even if over brewed it does not taste bitter. If someone like smoked / roasted flavour can surely try this.

I am been buying Goodricke tea for a long time. Earlier, I bought a few times form Goodricke site , but now Silkrute Prime makes my experience hassle free.Prior to that I was buying loose from Calcutta and the vendor used to send me by courier in KG packs, which used to get stale & musty over time.Now problem solved.Even Fanning is good , but certainly never the same flavour.Afterall, Darjeeling tea needs to be savoured steaming through the nose first before sipping in.Thanks Silkrute Pantry.

I am very particular about my tea (like many of you) and want it brewed a certain way, and want the color of my tea perfect and this tea really fared quite well. I've tried many brands for the perfect cup of tea and I must say Goodricke roasted Darjeeling tea has really impressed me and i plan to order more. I hope they can maintain their quality!

While opening the packet I found a razor blade. This is unacceptable and gross negligence by Goodricke tea. Company should a fool proof system that such incidence does not occur. Tea flavour etc remains to be good no complaint on that aspect.

I usually buy tea leaves from my hometown, katihar local tea shops. They have numerous options like starting from 200rs/kg to 2000/kg. I prefer 500rs/kg tea leaves which I am badly addicted to. Phewww...Because of lockdown I couldn't visit my home town and doing WFH exhausted my stock soon. So after reading many reviews I bought this goodricke roasted tea leaves.As it can be observed from images that the 500rs/kg leaves are longer in size than goodricke(1000rs/kg) and there is no considerable difference in fragrance and flavour.Those who haven't tasted the other one will definitely like this goodricke and will soon develope a likeness for this.Always a Tea lover ????

The taste is almost closer to any Darjeeling tea and the roasted version gives a different aroma. Good tea better than regular black tea, but not up to the mark of local Darjeeling team available in West Bengal. We switched to this after Lipton had degraded their quality and not regretting it till now. Still we enjoy the local Darjeeling tea every time someone gets it for us from West Bengal.
