With 2-3 strokes you can get full heavy lashes effect, so it can be used for heavy looks as well. Although, It can not completely smudge proof, you need to give it time to settle in - about 15 minutes or so , and still it would smudge a little bit , so you need to be careful about that. Also it is water resistance , so you need to use oil based cleanser to take it off completely. But overall it is a good product and worth the price. And if you're a beginner this is the product you should go for!
