I can't speak to the effectiveness of this cream as an antiseptic because it is so heavily perfumed I cannot use it. It reeks to high heaven. I put it on today and had to change, throw all my clothes in the laundry and scrub in the shower. By the way, scent is not listed in the ingredients which makes me wonder what else is omitted from the ingredient list.
